Introduction
Hey, welcome to my website and my first blog post! My name is Mohammed Ikram Nagdawala (call me Ikram), a passionate digital marketer working in the eCommerce field for over seven years and I am so excited to share with you my thoughts, views, learnings, and tips on digital marketing.
It was in 2012 when I decided to sell stuff online and started selling on eBay. Eventually, it turned into a small business that grew in leaps and bounds and gave me big dreams. The idea that I could make money while I am sleeping or while even on a holiday fascinated me and I eventually developed a keen interest in eCommerce.
Since then, I have learned skills like keyword research, listing copy-writing and all things digital marketing in bits and pieces and I enjoyed it a lot. I also worked at an eCommerce startup where I gained extensive experience in market research, website marketing, SEO, content creation, email marketing funnel and paid campaigns. Fast forward to 2021, I am now selling private labels products on Amazon and experienced selling on Shopify.
Why I am starting this blog
I made a few friends in this industry along the way who always suggested I start a blog. But it was only a couple of months ago when I studied Content Marketing, I truly realized the importance of writing a blog. I am now completely consumed with inspiration to start a blog on topics around eCommerce and digital marketing and feel I should share my knowledge to help those wanting to start selling online or even those who are already in this field and want to grow.
As I am not an expert yet in writing blogs, I know there will be many trials and errors until I perfect this skill so please bear with me on my mistakes. But, I will definitely do my best to provide valuable information from my experience and learning to the readers.
